Setting up Confirmations

Email Confirmation

From the Booking Agent, click View > Web Reports > Email and Fax Set-up > Email Set-up.

Fax Confirmations

Adding fax confirmations to your system adds another dimension to your customer service.  The Booking Agent sends faxes using a fax-to-email service.

We recommend eFax.com for your fax-to-email service.  eFax.com is an independent service and will be billed separately by the vendor.

  1. Set-up your email-to-fax account with a 3rd party vendor, such as eFax.com.  They will give you a fax number for which can be useful to receive faxes for your business.
  2. Once you have your fax number, you can enable your email address by adding it to the list of email accounts which can send faxes.

    In eFax.com, this is available through My Account > Account Overview > Preferences > Send Options.

  3. From the Booking Agent, click File > Configuration > Licensing.
  4. Check to enable Fax Services.
  5. Click OK to save and close.
  6. From the main window, click View > Web Reports.
  7. Click Administration > Email and Fax Set-up.
  8. Click Fax Setup.
  9. Enter your mail host configuration.
  10. Enter the To formatted for the 3rd fax service.  For eFax.com, this will be 1%NUMBER%@efaxsend.com.
  11. Enter a header and footer to apply to the booking confirmations.
  12. Click Apply to save.

From the Booking Agent, click View > Web Reports > Email and Fax Set-up > Fax Set-up.
