Startup Parameters

You may want to access certain features of the Booking Agent directly from your desktop. This can be useful if you want to set-up a stand-alone Point of Sale terminal in your office or if you want to automate the Eigen handshaking.

Point of Sale
/agent/Booking%20Agent.application?PointOfSale
/agent/Booking%20Agent.application?POS

Eigen Setup
/agent/Booking%20Agent.application?Eigen.Setup

Eigen Handshake
/agent/Booking%20Agent.application?Eigen.Handshake

You can setup a desktop link by:

  1. Right-click on the desktop.
  2. Click New > Shortcut.
  3. In Type the location of the item, enter one of the above links, such as,
    "/agent/Booking%20Agent.application?PointOfSale"
  4. Click Next.
  5. Enter a name for this shortcut, such as "Point of Sale".
  6. Click Finish.
  7. You can change the icon of the newly created desktop item by right-clicking on it and then Properties.
  8. From the Web Document tab, clicking Change Icon.
  9. You can add any icon you wish from an existing file. For a large list of icons, use "%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll".
  10. Click OK to save the new icon.
  11. Click OK to save the shortcut.
