Moving or upgrading a station

For security and licensing purposes each station is tracked by the local network MAC address.  When upgrading or moving a station, it may be necessary to release this address.

To release the current station:

1. Run the Booking Agent.
2. From the main window, click File > Preferences > Station.
3. Click Release.
4. Click OK.
5. The Booking Agent will shutdown.

To release a station remotely or when the station is inaccessible:

1. Run the Booking Agent on a separate machine.
2. Login using an account with Administration permissions.
3. Click File > Configuration > Stations.
4. Select the upgrade Station from the drop-down list.
5. Click Release.
6. Click OK.

At the Login window for the new station, you may now select the correct station from the drop-down box at the bottom.

Global station activation

Employees with administrator access may also activate or de-activate any station in the company from File > Configuration > Licensing > Stations.
